Your relationship with us as our customer is important, and we want you to understand our policies and practices about handling your information.

THIS POLICY APPLIES TO YOU

This Policy applies to our relationships with individual consumers who inquire about or obtain products or services from us for personal, family and household purposes. While this Policy does not apply to business accounts, our commercial customers’ information is also very important to us. We respect the privacy of our commercial customers, and will take steps necessary to protect their information.

We take the security of information very seriously. We have established security standards and procedures to prevent access to customer information. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to guard consumer information.

We educate our employees about the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy. We take appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce employee responsibilities regarding customer information.

“Nonaffiliated third party” means a company that is not an affiliate of ours.

We may share information with our parent bank holding company, BNB Bancorp, Inc., that we are permitted to share under the law.

We may disclose information to nonaffiliated third parties, including financial service providers and non-financial companies, as permitted by law. For example, we may provide information to outside companies to help us perform services for you, such as check printing, bill payment, to our private label credit or debit card provider, to government entities to respond to subpoenas, and to credit reporting agencies.

We do not share your information with outside marketing agents.

FORMER CUSTOMERS

If you end your customer relationship with us, we will continue to adhere to the privacy policies and practices described in this notice.

INTERNET INFORMATION


  • Visitors to our website remain anonymous. We do not collect personally identifying information about visitors to our site.

  • Our server does collect standard non-identifying information about visits to the site, such as date and time visited, IP address, city, state, and country. This information is used to compile standard statistics on site usage. Some areas of our website may use a "cookie" temporarily stored in the visitor's computer memory (RAM) to allow the web server to log the pages you use within the site and to know if you have visited the site before.

  • If personally identifying information is provided via e-mail or web forms (such as name, address and telephone number), the information will only be used to communicate with the provider to handle the request.
